It never rains, it pours
 
June 18th was quite an unusual and intensive day for Beijing, I have never seen such a heavy rain in this city, sky seemed leaking, dark clouds gathered and covered the city, casting shadows to the land, daytime was as dark as night, and the night is darker than darkness. Here in Beijing, it never rains, it pours!
 
Yu Gong Yi Shan, located in the middle of the city amongst old Beijing courtyards, is one of the numerous live houses growing rapidly in Beijing, this night Deine Lakaien would present their very first show with all band members in China.

There it is, finally, the new Helium Vola Album “Für Euch, die Ihr liebt”, which we have awaited so impatiently.  And here I wrote down my first impressions. Before I start to go into the individual songs, let me summarize by saying it is "WOW", this album is just marvellous. Ernst Horn is really a unique guy, he demonstrates that there are more levels of "perfect" than you could imagine. At least I thought the previous Helium Vola albums were already perfect. And they were, but this one is even more. So go and get it, if you have not done this already and listen to it.

13. February 2009 Veljanov releases one of the most popular "Porta Macedonia" album songs "We can't turn back".
The single will be available only as download version on iTunes, Musicload, AOL, Saturn and Mediamarkt.

The new single comes along with a new video clip.
The video is based on recordings of the release concert in the Admiralspalast in Berlin, which was broadcasted live via the world wide web last year.

The Deine Lakaien singer Alexander Veljanov released his third solo album last year 07. November.
With this album Veljanov opened his heart and mind; for his fans but also for people who did not know his solo music yet.

"Porta Macedonia" is probably his most personal album, which combines his Macedonian and German roots and influences.

With "We can't turn back" Veljanov releases one of the most popular album songs.
Available only as digital version, the single will be released 13. Feb. 2009.

Unfortunately, we have to announce that the following Veljanov tour dates are cancelled:

11. Feb. 09  Centralstation in Darmstadt
12. Feb. 09  Rosenhof in Osnabrück
13. Feb. 09  Backstage (Werk) in Munich

The assigned concert agency Meistersinger notified us that these concerts had to be cancelled due to logistical reasons.

Alexander Veljanov and his management regret to announce the cancellation and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Concert tickets can be returned to the ticket agencies where tickets have been purchased.

The Veljanov concert in Cologne has been moved from Live Music Hall to Kulturkirche.
All other tour dates are taking place as planned:
